They just don’t make them like they used to. Even though my daughter is now a bit beyond first readers it would be such a thrill if she brought this home from school. There are 104 pages (!!) of dressed up cats, cute captions, and lovely hand drawn frames. And there’s a story in there somewhere too.
No Expiration Eggnog
The holidays may be over but my love for eggnog endures. I don’t recall when the thirst began, but I know for once it’s not a holdover from my childhood. This is an adult thing, so with that I admit that the adult version is what I’m partial to.
How Many Plants
Three years into my pandemic plant hoarding journey, my alive to dead stats are ok, but could be better. Our house is walls of windows, but I still struggle with securing reliable spots with the right light.

Virtual Globetrotting
While this doesn't replace the thrill and awe of flight and travel it makes for a solid stand-in, especially if you lack a passport, time, or money to see the world. This Google Earth extension also makes opening my browser about 100% more delightful.
